We try to avoid returns whenever we can by making sure you have made the best buying decision possible. However, customer satisfaction is our #1 priority and we understand that sometimes a return or exchange may be necessary. Please read our terms below to help avoid unnecessary returns, restocking and shipping charges, and to be sure that any returns or exchanges are handled efficiently and quickly.

layaway and Special Orders Policy


In order to help our customers to acquire the instruments they wish to own but who need a bit more time to pay, NashVegas Guitars offers a 60 Day Layaway policy program, requiring a deposit of 1/3 down with the balance to be paid by the 60th day.


We are also happy to place a Special Order for an instrument not in stock with a minimum deposit of 50% of the purchase price.  Layaway and Special Orders deposits are non-refundable in the event you decide to cancel your order but can be used as an in-store credit for future use.


Custom Orders


Custom orders of guitars and amplifiers require a 50% deposit upon entering your order with the balance due prior to shipment to our store by the manufacturer. As custom orders have unique characteristics and were placed based upon your personal specifications, deposits are entirely non-refundable in the event you do not complete full payment for your order within 14 days of notification that your order is ready for shipment to our store by the manufacturer.


Shipping Policy


For all products of more than $100 shipped within the continental United States, we offer Free Ground Shipping.  Our preferred shippers are UPS and Fedex but we will also ship smaller items and accessories via the US Postal Service.  NashVegas Guitars fully complies with its duty and obligation to adhere to Tennessee State Sales Tax regulations and collection requirements.  Therefore, all orders shipped to addresses within the State of Tennessee will be charged applicable TN State and Local Sales Taxes.  We do not collect sales taxes for shipments to addresses outside of the State of Tennessee. However, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with your home state’s regulations for purchases shipped to you from out of state. For all International Orders including Canada, we ask that you contact us for a custom shipping quote. Some products are not available for shipping to international destinations.  All duties, foreign taxes and extra transport costs levied will be the responsibility of the buyer.



return Policy


Most guitars and basses ordered by phone or web purchase that have not been played “in-store” will have a 48-hour Approval Period that begins after you receive your shipment.  This way you will be able to experience the instrument in the comforts of your own home to ensure that it is a good fit.  In store purchases are not available for a 48-hour Approval Period but will be considered for future store credit on a case by case basis at the discretion of NashVegas Guitars.


We will only allow an instrument to be returned to our store with a return authorization number. This is not an open-ended policy and will be handled on a per case basis.  We will refuse any unauthorized returns or unknown shipments to our store with no exceptions.


There will be a 10% restocking fee on all returns that are paid with credit cards.  This fee is not a profit to our store but covers any costs that we may incur to process your order.  In the event that an item is returned, the customer is also responsible for all shipping charges.  If you pay with PayPal, check, or money order you will only be held responsible for shipment cost.  If the item is purchased in-house or played in-house and subsequently shipped, a 48-Hour Approval period is not applicable. 

All items that are returned must be shipped to us the same way and in the same condition it was shipped out to you.  You must use the same packing materials, exact same shipping service, and purchase insurance for the full value of the purchase price.  We thoroughly inspect each item prior to shipping and will not be held responsible for items that are damaged in return shipping. Any merchandise registered by the purchaser with the manufacturer’s warranty registration system and returned to us will be deemed “Used Merchandise” and will be subject to a 30% restocking fee.


Amplifiers, effects pedals, accessories, sealed/limited edition and “open box” items are not applicable for an approval period for refund.  In the event that you are unhappy with a purchase of this type, an exchange may be granted at our discretion.  Customer will be responsible for all shipping charges.  Please contact us with any questions regarding this prior to completing your purchase.


Custom and Special Orders are not applicable for an approval period for refund due to their customized nature.

In the extremely rare event that you receive an item that has been damaged in shipping, please do not refuse the package, but contact us immediately after your delivery and we will begin the claim process.  You will not be responsible for the item's damage, but there is process for these circumstances and following our instructions will expedite this process.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information 
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

  • Change/correct any data we have about you.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.  Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.


While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.


We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site.
